It's time for a tank repaint due to bubbling. I plan to do away with the raised Buell lettering and paint the replacements on. Does anyone have a lead on some vinyl decals that are the right size and font so I can use them as a mask? The "Buell" can be either the inner sticker or the outer "waste" I can use either to do what I want, but to do the "American motorcycles" it would almost have to be the outer part (too many small letters to remove without damaging the color underneath) I'll leave the American motorcycles off if I can't find something that looks right

I've got the base and mid coat for "Ice White" sitting here as well as a blue pearl that's pretty close to my Buell emblems.

I can do it in an actual paint mask designed for that application.
PM me.

I live in a fairly small town with one vinyl shop...that is also a t-shirt shop. The last time I went in looking for a specific font they looked at me like I was dumb and tried to talk me into something I didn't want. I ended up making a mask myself with tape, I'd rather not do that again.

I'd rather give my money to someone that is on here and would do it right

and thanks for the offer Dutch but I was a painter in a auto-body shop for a few years and I think with the way it bubbled under the raised decals, this time I think I'll try paint since I can do it myself. Unless you have a blue/white white lightning decal like they used on the tail....I'd like to find one of those.

PM sent Shane
