i have checked my service manual and i can not seem to find the procedure on how to change the oil.. i have not done this before.. i was wondering about some helpful hints..

they have become pretty soft in my opinion( i am only 185-190 with gear) they are adjusted to the hardest setting.

In the 01 X1 manual:

Section 2.16 is "front fork", starts on page 2-39.
Filling is page 2-42.

Forks are under "chassis" in the table of contents...
