Yes did do a search, I was not able to find the info I was looking for. sorry...

I bought a cable and software off ebay, I installed the software on to my laptop with out much trouble I was able to load the drivers for the cable as well. I am able to conect but not in real time I was able to download the eprom and maps, but the only way to reset the tps was to adjust the idle screw and hit check trouble codes. It would then on the main screen have the most current info. With the bike running the tack never worked. However I was able to test the tack, fuel pump and injectors.

What am I missing? Bike is a 99X1.

Unscrew the idle adjuster ,go to "functions" and hit Reset TPS, a window opens up and asks reset tps yes/no....hit yes then go to the "ecm run time" screen and screw the idle adjustment up to about 5.0, the bike should now start and idle.

Set final idle after engine is warmed up.
