Well, I bit the bullet and could not be more : )!!!! It cost $400 but I got rid of the damn key ignition and built my own high-Amp Bridge and installed the Digital Guard Dawg Ignition Switch -- The RFID Token (tag) is cool as crap! Love this thing! Way cool complement to also the GPS Speedo and old school Carb Conversion of my beloved 2002 X1W! : )

Oh yeah and the ignition key switch hole is now a weather-proof USB plug for phone or whatever.

Yep! Thanks to AL... most everything on that Bike is American Sport Bike including all the CF. I do have a key for the gas cap, trunk and fork lock... but do not need anything but a token to start the bike. Hop on, hit the starter, walk away and 30 seconds later it is armed. : ) -- love the Digital Guard Dawg Tag... way cool.

Alabama is my favorite state. Good people all around.

two_seasons refers to Winter then Summer. I used to be a landscaper

Take care Corey.

Thanks Oldog.... I love this bike! got her new in 2002 and treated her with love since and never gave up on her! She has seen two major build-ups in her lifetime and is just now better than ever now 9+ years later... I converted her to a Mitkuni Carb and dumped the DDFI due to many tuning failures after she was upgraded to a Stage III and heavily modified with CAMS, Roller Rockers, Springs lightened crank, windage tray and balanced reciprocating parts and pieces... she is a sweetie now since all that DDFI junk has been dumped.... lots of cool techie stuff like GPS Speedo and RFID security however so she is just my baby... Happy 4th!

Saw a video of the rizoma blinkers and they are freaking bright. I like the look of them as well.

you went all techno-geekie cool with a GPS speedo and RFID key, but converted it to carburetor?

seems to me like you would be savvy enough to either solve FI problems or replace/retrofit another FI system altogether..
