My 99 M2 is not starting properly, it is only making a clicking sound at the module mounted on the frame to the rear of the fuse box when the starter button is pressed, the starter does not engage. The module has two fuse sized plug ins and two more that are a bit smaller than the size of a nine volt battery. The clicking seems to be coming from one or both of the larger plug ins. Is this the starter relay? The bike bump starts and runs fine, as long as a big hill is available for the bump start. The ignition fuse is good and I hooked jumper cables up to my car with the same clicking result, eliminating the battery as the problem. Any suggestions for trouble shooting would be appreciated.

Thanks but none of that worked, the battery is less than a year old and reads 12.5 V. The of the two modules about the same size a bit smaller than a 9 volt batteries seemed to be the source of the clicking, I pulled them both out and switched the positions, it fired right up. I am guessing they are starter relays, perhaps someone with access to the wiring diagrams can enlighten me.
