I am interested in opinions regarding the pros and cons of each.

Both are available and I want to make the best choice for my M2.

Thanks,

Dave

The Showa have better adjustability, and I have heard but never verified the WP parts cost more, and there is less availability.

other than adjustabitlity I dont believe there really is a pro or con to either. Most people will never be a adept enough of a rider to really fully realize what adjustments they need on their forks. Depending on their mood they will either Max the adjustment all the way up, or spin it all the way out, and forget it.

So that being said I think it really all comes down to price. Eitherway you will love the upgrade from the standard m2 forks.

I'm getting ready to put WPs on my M2. Got 'em stock already on the S1W and the S2. No issues with them at all, set them right and they'll behave.

I've also been warned about parts cost/availability...but already having two sets, I'm not worried about adding a third. The S2 has nearly 30k miles; the S1W just turned 7k. Opposite ends of the usage spectrum - one sits a lot, one has miles piled on it, neither has a leaky fork : )

I have the Showas on my M2 , parts are cheap and they are easy to work on ,definately make a difference to the bikes handling.
