I have finally gotten around to again working with my 2000 S3T. I bought the bike years ago with a Force pipe, open K&N set-up, and race ECM. It stumbled and stuttered more than it ran. I then made the mistake of putting a dynomap power commander III on. This only provided new running issues, but it did run. I then replaced the force pipe with a lucky find - the buell race pipe and can. It improved drivability some, and of course no longer shattered glass with the db levels, but still unpredictable with the power below about 3500 rpm (where most commuters/street riders live!) Now I remembered the PC III, and am sending it to the trash this week, along with the after-market o2 sensor it used. I am praying everything will be resolved when I fire it up. My next question is what is the best/simplest way to reset my TPS now? Is there a cheap home set-up, or will this be another trip to my local "we don't fix Buells" dealership? |

Find a copy of ECM Spy if you still can and put together a cable (about $30 worth of stuff). Not hard to do at all. |

There's a cable for sale in the classifieds right now for $40. I think it's in the factory/aftermarket thread. |
