I need an air/fuel mixture adjustment tool for an early generation Quicksilver carb, so I'm told...any ideas?

Are you talking about the cardboard template that is used to adjust the float?

If so I have some in my owners manual that you can have, just send me a SASE and I'll return em...

Top of carb had an allen plug,with throttle wide open you can use flat blade driver to turn the adjuster for needle up or down---left is lean,right is rich.At one time Edelbroc sold a nice spring loaded knob the screwed on instead of allen plug. Keep an eye on the slide as the inside corners are known to crack off and go through motor after lots of miles and vibes.
