New to the whole automotive fitting thing... Looking for a Russell fitting that will attach to "fitting A" (pictured) on one end and a 3/8" braided stainless hose on the other end. Are either of the two Russell fittings pictures the one I need and if so, which one? Help...

the fitting "a" has a hose barb and will not accept a threaded fitting...

So just use a Russell hose end (which is basically just an oversized & anodized hose clamp)?

How about the other end of the hose? Tees, etc...? Trying to do something similar (see image), but cleaner, with my breather set-up.

The 90 degree fitting in the upper pic. is a double female connector fitting.

The fitting in the lower pic is a hose end.
You need fitting E.

The Red ferrule unscrews off the swivel with right hand threads but has left hand threads on the major ID, this is threaded on the hose till its seated against the internal shoulder of the ferrule then the swivel end is screwed back into the ferrules minor ID threads and into the hose itself.

Just a guy thing, probably, , relative to your pic, but I prefer seeing more of those gorgeous jugs, and less of the hoses.

Never thought I would see those pics again.

(That is my original work on the M2 that was stolen in Detroit.)

Item "E" is the modified breather bolts made for me. Still have them somewhere in the shop. Made to use standard AN fittings. All the fittings in the finished pic are standard AN -6 items. All can be sourced at will. Local speed shop, online, etc etc.

I always disliked the fake AN fittings with the worm clamp.

In that finished pic..... There are three -6 90 degree, three -6 straights, one -6 Tee and the modified breather bolts. The puke tank is from Pingel.

RT,

Lets just call it the aircraft mech in me meets the hot rodder me.

I have gotten better at it. Now use SS braided line.

btw, the next iteration of that set-up lost the up swept lines. Went to straight drop down lines to the Tee.
