Not mine fortunately.
I'm working on a 2002 Sportster for a friend of a friend.
Low on money and no 4th gear.
Are the tranny gears the same on the 2002 Sportster as a 2000 - 2002 tuber?
I need a 4th gear shift fork and a 1st gear mainshaft gear. (all the 4th gear dogs are gone....).

Can one of the parts gods here help me out?

These are the part numbers from a 2000 Cyclone parts book.
4th Gear shift fork - 34147-89C
1st Gear Mainshaft - 35762-89A

Anyone have access to a 2002 Sportster parts manual?

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

There's a tranny for sale in the classified along with T-Storm heads (thats the first item listed.) He's asking $300, which may be high but its none of my business. Probably cheaper than the parts you're looking at.

Brad

Looked in my 2002 Sportster parts manual, the numbers are the same as you listed.

I think first and second are different between the sportsters and tubers.

BUELLers:

This is an example of why you should buy a PARTS BOOK(and factory service manual for the YEAR/MODEL) so you can see what retro-fits the BUELL(and BLAST) SPORTSTER platforms and compare with other BUELLers ...

This transmission goes back to 1994 to where "i" stopped keeping up in 2002 ...

The part number consists of five numbers and a dash two digit number some times followed by a high case letter ...

ie: 35762-89A means this part was first used in 1989 and the high case letter A means it has been up-dated once ...

This is why "i" call the BUELL Motor Company parts numbering system the BUELLschitte NUMBERING SYSTEM because you can not look at the part number and know when it was first used, plus other things with out BMC's code brak'er sheet ...

No arguement there LaFayette, I just don't have a 2002 Sportster book... M2 - yup, X1 - yup, Blast - yup, S2 - yup, Sportster - nope..

Bluzm2:

If you want a page specific, the wife has taught me how e-mail them ...

In 2000 the TUBE FRAME's transmissions were up-date a little making the gears a bit more close ratio and the BLAST came that way also ...
