Hi Guys,
got a question about the wires connected under the clutch lever.
What's it for and can you disconnected them without further problems?

I'm asking because i got a new brake and clutch lever set, but there's no connection for these wires under the clutch set.

Safety switch that allows the the bike to be started in gear only when the the lever is pulled in and the clutch disengaged.

If bypassed make sure your bike is in NEUTRAL before starting or your sitting on it.

Quite often the new controls accommodate the attachment of the existing clutch safety and brake light switches.

If not you will need to connect the two safety switch wires together to provide a closed loop in the start circuit.

The bigger problem is if the new controls do not accommodate the existing switches, or have their own incorporated; you will have to address the lack of a brake light switch for the front brake.

the brake light switch is no problem, there's a incorporated switch in the new brake system.
it was just the clutch that has no way to connect the wires to.

anyway thanks for the input.

did have a look at them but there's no brand name on them.
