Ok Folks...
On the Signature Plate front, I have in my possession a VERY interesting folder of information.

I have ALL of the original invoices for the manufacturing of the original Signature Series stuff.
Including some prototype holders and packaging.
I've had the pleasure of a long conversation with the person that used to be with HD that did made the Signature stuff happen.
He loaned the folder to me.
Quite an interesting story.

I'm going to pull a Court here and say "Ask me about it sometime".
Seriously, when I get a bit more time to do it justice, I will scan and redact all of the stuff I have. I think it's important to have it out here and archived for posterity.

Brad

I think you have had enough time Brad!!

Most important .... Sit tight and keep it safe.

The most exciting of the Buell chapters is being written. I have a sneakin' suspicion you ain't heard the last about HD's decision to tank Buell.

Frank,
I feel a bit guilty not getting them posted..
I barely have time to get anything done lately.
Good news is that I got the go ahead from the "owner" to post them in full. No redacting necessary. That's been the big holdup. Trying to find time to black out names, etc.
Since the news of Oct 15th there is no need to "protect the innocent".
I have some time off coming up, I PROMISE I'll get it done!

Brad

Brad, no worries, I thought I had missed it and it took me a while to find the thread and figured it was a good time to poke at you a little. I was thinking about it because I was recreating the mini build sheet on the computer just to see if I could do it.

The important thing, like Mr. C said, is to keep that stuff safe.

Busy! I know the feeling. Most nights after work I just do not have the energy to work on the project. In fact, if you see me in action, you would think that this is the first time I have done a rebuild since I am making a lot of mistakes. Seems like I am doing everything two and three times in order to get it right.

The Basement is littered with parts for the restoration and the current custom build. For some reason it does not bother me to watch TV sitting in the middle of a pile of S2 parts. I have no idea what Lynn's problem is! You would think she would be used to it by now.
