Yes you can...Well, I only asked about the Orange for mine...But I found out that it's just a standard Tiger brand powder...LOL

"Blazing" Orange = Tiger RAL 2004 number.

$25 a pound they said.
I was also told 5 lbs was plenty to redo my frame, a set of wheels, and various other parts...

Jim, only because I like you...(oh, and the fact I haven't finished using your tool yet) I'll call them back tomorrow and ask for Nuke Blue for you.

Mind you the names given to these colors are not the actual names of the powdercoat colors (gotta love marketing)...I was told that Blazing Orange was just a standard orange with clear coat over it...

Oh, and another thing guys, Powder coat has a shelf life, and needs to be kept cool and dry with little to no humidity. I was told that buying and storing it isn't such a good idea as it "expires."

In fact I will see if they cannot email me a list of all the Tiger part numbers that go to the Buell color names...That'd be sweet...now someone is going to have to buy something from them...

I sat an read through the chip charts,

the 2 step processes, would look good

I had mixed results with clear coating my PM wheels, but my frame needs repair and
refinishing - nuke blue or as close as possible, other wise candy metalic red
and some trim changes,

I would venture to guess that there's a pearl in the color coat of the nuke blue. It appears to be at least a two if not three step process to achieve that much texture and gloss.

The frame and wheels are usually the first things people compliment when looking at Betty. Funny thing is, those are basically the only parts that are untouched since leaving the factory 10 years ago : p

Pk the Nuke blue is looking more like Puke blue, I read through what was in the published material, some of the 5k series Ral blues may be close, hard to say

i have been in contact with them trying to get the color for a 99 x1 black frame and 06 XB translucent red wheels... i was told they did not do the newer buell powder but the guy was trying to get me the info. Have not heard anything back yet.

Will they sell just the powder? if not, where can i order tiger power?

Yes, they will sell you the powder, and ship it.

I think it was something like $25/lb.
