Lookin for ideas on relocation of IAT. I have the new forcewinder with the hole of the IAT. wiring isn't long enough to mount there i could lenthin the wires but ive seen pics of the fitting the IAT goes into routed with the fat end of the tube up 2 the filter and the reverse with small end in the filter. Does any1 have pics of what they've done lookin for something that looks clean. Also heard of people routing it under the tank i don't like that idea but open to segestions. I'm a Harley tech but my dealership doesn't carry buell wish we did and I've had 2 other X1 just never ran the forcewinder never have liked it cuz of the poor performance. havn't got 2 ride this baby yet i stole it from my dealership since we don't work on them unless i say i will and she needed some work i got her real cheap!

Take a look in this post.

I did move the IAT Sensor to another position, behind the windshield, over the headlamp, bolted on an aluminum plate.

Hope helps, it's an idea.

I have mine relocated next to the diagnostic plug by the steering tube. It was the farthest it would reach with out cutting and splicing it.
