I just finished removing both rocker box covers along with the plates located below them that contain the umbrella valves, I pulled the umbrella valves off for install new ones and now I can not remember on what side to put them,
intake or exhaust side of the cylinder?.

This is the picture of the service manual, but only shows the front cylinder and it seems on the exhaust side, so I'm a little confused.

Sorry for the stupid question but I just want to make sure

Thanks in advanced.

Buellisticx1:

They go on the intake side where the breather bolt is ...}

IMHO the EVO SPORTSTER umbrella valves a NO GOOD ...

Up-date to XB rocker arm covers which are much better ...

MAY THE LONG LASTING BUELL BE WITH YOU !!!

Nice name BUELLISTIC will always help. He helped me quite a lot.

He is right go with the xb conversion. You can get a "polished" kit from American Sport Bike.http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/A20000.html Or the dealer can piece it together. The only reason i didn't buy it from AL, was i really don't like the shiny stuff!
