here is one but why go stock when you can upgrade?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-X1-stock-muff ler-95736-99YA-New-in-box_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkpa rmsZ72Q3a1171Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a 1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286 Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem260377919646QQitemZ260377919 646QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories |

Well the main reason i dont want to upgrade or buy a brand new exhaust is because im in college and don't have that kind of money right now. Also the Force exhaust that is on it now is cracked most of the way around the pipe on the front lower bracket. I dont know if i could just weld it up, or if it would just be easier to buy a different one. |

Your cheapest route would be to take it to someone and have them weld it up. More than likely any muffler shop could do it. Second cheapest would be the approach you're taking and find an original someone is wanting to get rid of. |

Ryan how much would you offer to buy a stock 2000 X1 lightening muffler? And would you offer to pay shipping as well? Kathy |

I've got one hanging on the wall. PM me an offer and we'll see what we can work out. I've considered "drumming" it but until my D&D stops performing so flawlessly it's not going to see any use. |

Absolutely! Force is junk...cheap but junk nonetheless. they are only good for use on the track, then, throw-away. Supertrapp is best IMO. |

This is why i have the supertrap on mine right now. I had a Vance & Hines carbon fiber can and it blew up so i went with the supertrap and an open ended cap! |

looks fixable to me. should only cost 50.00 or so, then spray it with some VHT paint, good to go. should be your cheapest route for now. when you remount it, make sure the rubber mounts are in good condition, and/or add more. i was breaking pipes every year until i added some extra rubber isolators at all the mounting points. since then, not a single break. |

You should get the updated y exhaust mount. I had the same problem breaking exhaust tabs until I got the updated mount. Got mine from American Sport Bike. |
