Did you cut down the spacers? Did you have any troubles with the plastic bush at the end of the spacer interfering with the inner tubes? I'm worried that if I cut down the spacers to get the right sag the bush won't be right inside the inner tube at full fork extension and could drag or catch. |

when i put the pro springs from buell in the S3, i took some of the spacers out, and the sag was perfect. i don't think the racetech springs would be much different??? |

The Racetech springs I have are 270mm versus about 245mm for standard, so it still needs a spacer in there. I haven't measured it but the standard spacer is around 100mm long. |

Ok, I've measured it properly and it should all be fine (I should have measured it before I posted!). I can take up to 25mm off the spacer and still have at least 10mm of the bush inside the inner fork tube at full extension. |

I put the Race Tech springs, and valve in my S3 a while back, and had no issues, and nothing required trimming for my application. Dean |

I'd suggest calling Race Tech, they're helpful and who would know the product better? |

I emailed Al at AmericanSportBike who supplied the springs. He explained that Racetech used to supply 270mm springs that require cutting of the spacers (and many people have done it successfully) but they have changed to 250mm springs. I got mine at the beginning of the year, maybe that was around the time they changed. |

I put the Race Tech springs in my S1 and had to trim the spacers a little bit. Race Tech was very helpful. |
