So, I recently bought a brand spankin new M2L shock from a fellow member. UPS being the assholes they are, tossed it around, and now the box is covered in oil.

So, is there a way to refill/repressurize the oil so I can use it, or is it a turd now?

If it's leaking it probably needs to be rebuilt. RaceTech has the seals and any race shop or suspension shop should be able to re-charge the nitrogen for a small fee.

I recommend a Works or Penske.

Factory shocks are well known to leak oil... I would doubt if UPS could damage a properly packed shock such that it would "suddenly" leak oil. If they did that much damage the shock should look like a trashed beer can...

Yes, they are repairable. Get with a reputable shock dealer (Race Tech, LE, etc) or do it yourself IF you have the tools and experience...
