NHRS front motor mount, stenzel truss strap, trimed cam cover, carb conversion and a few others... the point is that im converting to an 883 sportster primary gear, chain and rotor... this should give me better acceleration and give me a chance to upgrade to an 8 bolt sprocket vs the 99 4 bolt granade.. i know that buell did the 8 bolt change in 2000 and im hoping a 2000 xl will will swap out.. any comments?   Dave_02_1200 Posted on Tuesday, April 01, 2008 - 08:26 am:        I am interested in the 883 primary gear conversion discussed above. And yes, it should be a "bolt on" as in, the parts are basically a direct swap... I rarely ride over 85/90 mph but would love more acceleration at lower speeds.
