Hey guys. I rode my bike to work the other day and when i went back out I could not get it to start. It sounds as if it is spinning the starter just fine but it is not engauging. Does anyone no what I need to do to fix this? Is it the starter or the solenoid? And how hard of a fix? Thanks for the help -Zach |

you might be able to tap the starter with a mallet and get it to start but, you probably will have to remove the primary cover and then the starter for repair or replacement. not too hard with a manual. tim |

My starter clutch went, it sounded like that, it just would'nt turn over the motor occasionally, had a new one fitted, no probs. |

Hey so i took the bike apart today and the starter is spinning but as soon as it enguages it stops and when you let off and it disengauges it will spin again. Does this sound like the starter clutch?? like as soon as it has to spin the gear it just doesnt even move. Thanks guys Zach |

When the gear engages, it wont turn over the engine it just whir's as the clutch slips. |
