Maybe his passing was mentioned in another forum -- I usually only look at "Old School" -- 'Cause I am ! --

But he was THE MAN -- No X Games in those days -- He was "the one and only Crazy Bastard" -- And he rode a Sportster based bike -- Bneck

Evel was the man. Those XR750's he jumped with were like lead weights with wheels compared to what his son jumps with. Any boy that watched him cracked their balls on the frame of their bicycles many times trying to imitate what he did.

RIP!
Man I had all the Evel toys back in the late 70's. My all time favorite was a bike that sat in a cradle while you wound a crank on the side and then let 'er rip.
Undoubtedly the most copied and most respected stunt man of all time.

I think the guy was as well known as Elvis. When I was jumping my dirtbike in the 70's, Dad said to me, "Who do you think you are?? Evil Knevil??"

Love him or hate him, he was an icon. Shopped alot at "Bodycasts-r-us"

May he rest in peace.
