I have a 95 S2 that I just put Thunderstorm top end stuff on. It runs great, but wants more revs and I keep whacking the stock 5500rpm limiter.

We have in stock the performance module listed in the '01 Buell accessory catalog as "fits 95-96 S2/S2T". Problem is, the connector on the wiring harness is a deutsch connector - square, 8 pin (one blank), orange weather seal. The bike has a seven pin connector shaped like this:

_______
/ o o o \
/ o o o o \
-----------

...and the part number on its case matches the one in parts lookup, it's a -91 part number.

I haven't had a chance to check and see if the seven wires are the same color codes; even if they are, does the purple wire do the same thing on both boxes, etc? Or is there an adaptor kit needed? Or...do I need something different altogether? I know a couple folks are running twintec systems, and the S/E selectable curve..but I'd rather avoid re-wiring the chassis if possible.

<sigh>

Use a Dyna II, that's what I have with my Nallin 1250 motor, works great.

S-2's used both of those connectors depending on if it was an early or late build. I know Dyna ignitions make adapters that go either way,I have had to use both types.
But as Bart said, I run Dyna 2000s modules on mine. --I have one to sell will have to look and see which connector it has.
