Pwnzor's link to the article above is a MUST READ.

Mr. Alexander's editorial is insightful truthful accurate and well thought out.

My opinion is that Donald would have no chance to be President except for two things.

Hillary. I could go into decades of detail of evil but sick old corruption and evil overlord pant suits is enough for now.

Media lies.

Not just about Trump. That they can get away with and mostly did. They lied about you. And you noticed. You KKK loving Jew hating gay murdering demons of Satan read your description above and thought about your gay cousin and your Latino sister-in-law and how your niece's conversion to Judaism so she could marry the nice guy that didn't treat her like crap..... ( and how much fun you had at the reception talking motorcycle experience with that cousin of his )

And came to the correct conclusion that the lies and hate were for anyone who was not on board heart & soul for the candidate endorsed by the Communist Party USA.

A lot of people noticed the lies. And revolted against hate.

Keep it up.

I posted the article to FB yesterday. The first response I got was "The author loses all credibility to his argument with the appointment of Bannon. Which is not mentioned in the article."

As far as I can find, Bannon has been whitewashed (pun intended) in much the same way as Trump.

Loses all credibility?

That's the mantra?

Just like the Facebook godling and Media hack's announcement of a brand new thing... "Fake News" it's a time honored evil tactic to shut up the enemy and not let them be heard... BECAUSE your ideology is based on lies and cannot be honestly defended.

This Pre dates Marx, but the "Left" has distilled dishonesty from every source into the most murderous evil mankind has ever known. ( judged by simple number of people murdered in the name of power )

Hey. I'm first to loudly announce I don't like Trump's persona. Any rational political strategist can trash him, truthfully, honestly, pointedly, and effectively.

But the Clinton Campaign didn't bother. They went straight to Alinsky divide and conquer, made up lies, actually sponsored street violence, faked assault, and generally went so far into the obviously dishonest that it will take decades for the "news media" to recover the trust of the people they've lied to. And they lie to everyone. The "Alt-right" and "fake news" and whatever "hashtag new crap" they come up with next week is simply evil rich leftists blaming every one else for their own failings.

See also "transference".

You are accused of racism because they feel guilty about their own. You MUST want to hurt people because they want to hurt people.

Some folk are unable to imagine anyone being any different than they are.

and the Left is by nature and intent the most vile hiding behind good intentions.

thus YOU must be lying to yourself.

Well... They are wrong. They are dead wrong. I'm not you, you're not them, and they aren't right.

Mattis Among Front-Runners To Be Trump's Defense Secretary
By Jeff Schogol, November 18, 2016

Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, a decorated war-time commander considered a deity by many troops and veterans, is on the short-list to run the Pentagon in the Trump administration, according to media reports.

Mattis is meeting with President-Elect Donald Trump on Saturday, the Associated Press is reporting. Bloomberg reported Friday that Trump is looking at Mattis and retired Army Gen. Jack Keane as possible nominees for defense secretary.

If nominated, Mattis would need a waiver from Congress to become defense secretary because he has not been out of uniform for seven years, per Title 10 of the U.S. Code.It is possible Mattis is meeting with Trump to offer advice on who Trump should pick as defense secretary.

Mattis could not be immediately reached for comment on Friday. He spent 44 years in the Marine Corps and retired in 2013 after leading U.S. Central Command.

quote:

Marine Major General James Mattis

“Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet,” was one of the rules Maj. Gen. James Mattis gave his Marines to live by in Iraq. Mattis, the commander of the 1st Marine Division, began in the winter of 2003-04 to train his troops to operate differently from the Army when they returned to Iraq. Mattis was unusual in many ways, most notably in being one of the more intense intellectuals in the U.S. military. “He is one of the most urbane and polished men I have known,” said retired Army Maj. Gen. Robert Scales, himself a Ph.D. in history. “He can quote Homer as well as Sun Tzu.” (Once possessed of a huge personal library, Mattis gave away many thousands of books to Marine and local libraries, and in late 2005 estimated that he had reduced his load to about 1,000 volumes.) When he deploys Mattis always packs the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, the Roman who was both a Stoic philosopher and an emperor. “It allows me to distance myself from the here and now,” and to discern the connection to the eternal verities of warfare, he explained. Mattis also objected to the Rumsfeld Pentagon’s emphasis on “net-centric” warfare built around the movement of data. “Computers by their nature are isolating. They build walls. The nature of war is immutable: You need trust and connection.” He dismissed the net-centric emphasis as “a Marxian view — it ignores the spiritual.”

With his troops he tended to be earthier. “The first time you blow someone away is not an insignificant event,” he told 200 Marines at a one session in al Asad. “That said, there are some assholes in the world that just need to be shot. There are hunters and there are victims. By your discipline, cunning, obedience and alertness, you will decide if you are a hunter or a victim. It’s really a hell of a lot of fun. You’re gonna have a blast out here!” He finished in Pattonesque fashion: “I feel sorry for every son of a bitch that doesn’t get to serve with you.”

Small, slight and bespectacled, Mattis didn’t fit the Hollywood image of the fire-breathing Marine commander. But retired Marine Col. Gary Anderson, himself a widely respected officer, commented, “I think he’s the finest combat leader we’ve produced since Korea.” Mattis genuinely seemed to thrive on the noise and confusion of battle. He adopted “Chaos” as his call sign when he took the Marines into southern Afghanistan in the fall of 2001 and kept it when he led the Marine part of the invasion force for Iraq in the spring of 2003. After the invasion he sent home his tanks and artillery pieces and went to Iraqi military leaders in each area his troops were in. “I come in peace,” Mattis recalled telling them. “I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you with me, I’ll kill you all.”

Hey there FB, None of this from the Major General impresses me. Actually it is quite disturbing.

Why?

I really hope Trump sticks to the idea that we need to bring the men and women home and defend our borders.

Trump doesn't strike me as a war-monger; neither does Mattis.

Knowing what we know now (the Iraq war was talked about the first month of GWB taking office and the plan to attack Afghanistan was drawn up and signed off by GWB a couple days before 9/11) shows that these wars were in fact bullshit from start to finish.

I don't see the connection between Bush and Trump - ??

Having that F U mentality from a Major General does not make a good case for getting the •••• out of the Arab Spring.

Mattis' mentality in regards to "if you're forced to fight, fight to win" (my words, not his) dovetails quite nicely with mine.

I don't see Mattis (or Trump) looking for a fight. But I see both men prepared to, if necessary, fight to win.

I understand your enthusiasm in having Trump in office soon...

Well, yes, I am enthused about Trump, but I continue to post-up stuff on this thread more to enlighten myself (I do a lot of online research on topics that interest me), and, hopefully, to enlighten others, which one of the reasons I'll typically post at least a snippet from an article, as a "teaser," and almost always a link for further review (and as a citation).

...but I am starting to be concerned that this might have been a big bag of goods sold to the American people. I hope I am wrong.

Why the concern? What's your primary news source?

Good day sir.

And you, sir.

Best,
Ferris

For all you FOX News fans, at 0:39 Chris Wallace calls Trump a racist and a misogynist.

Also note the near-subliminal accusation of racism in the footer - "Democrats promise scrutiny of Sen Sessions' civil rights record" - before you launch the video.

Fb,
Sorry for the confusion.
My intent was to say that I hope Trump pulls out of the Middle East.

As far as the quotes from the Major General. I do not hold that mentality of "killing people because they are assholes" as a neat way of living. As much as I could not fathom Clinton getting in among all the corruption in the foundation etc and how much I despise her "above the law" mentality and the pretentious attitude during the hearings about Benghazi (basically an as the major general put it) I wouldn't want to kill her. That is disturbing and Immoral.

As far as news sources, I guess Fox, RT, Corbett report, CNN, Local news channels, Yahoo, Prison Planet, Breitbart, NPR... I listen and read a wide array..

The bush reference was to time stamp when and who was in office during the decision to go to war. I hope, according to Trumps narrative, that he doesn't change his position and keep us in these wars.

I am not in favor of a "fight to win" mentality if the war you are fighting is based on a huge bullshit lie. So I am hopeful that this MG has an opinion of lets get our troops home..period...Doubtful though..

If you are going to drain the swamp I would prefer getting lifetime politicians out of the new administration.. whatever party affiliation...

Sorry for the scattered thoughts just don't have time right now to cut and paste your thoughts to mine.
Thanks for your time in answering above.
I posted the above posts also for information spreading.

"I am not in favor of a "fight to win" mentality if the war you are fighting is based on a huge bullshit lie"...as said by Tankhead.

That being said, every war seems that way at some time or another while bullets are flying! I think the point to that statement, if true, is that we will win it or die! 44 years of service tells me he enjoys fighting bad guys. No room for mealy mouth statements on our position(s). I like leaders like that myself.

Are you current or former military man Tankhead?
