I've been looking around everywhere for a replacement aluminum tank or a tried and tested method of sealing the plastic tank on my 98 S1 White Lightning. I've seen a few ideas tossed around, but none really ended too well. My tank like like alligator skin it is so bubbled and is now flaking off.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for sealing the tank? I talked to someone who had an aftermarket aluminum tank for the S1W, but again can't find it.

Thanks in advance guys!

Hello, try Caswell Inc. caswellplating.com They have a interior coating system that works extremely well. Used it on my S1 tank and after repainting there are no signs of bubbling at all. Try It, its easy to use.
