I just puchased a new D & D full exhaust but the tabs on the rear mounts appear to be about two inches short of the frame isolators. Did they build it wrong or am I missing something?

What model?

I'm 99% sure the D&D requires the updated exhaust hangers that were part of a factory recall; can shoot a few pictures of mine when I get home from work.

Long time ago post but I'd venture you need the stock "Z Bracket" for hanging the muffler. 2" seems about right if there's a gap at the back of the muffler there.
