I have the same problem with a crack in the plastic fuel elbow. I have a new brass elbow, but, how do you fit the brass elbow to the ally carb body? I can't for the life of me see how it works.

I just did 2 of them, one on the bench & one on the bike.

Pretty easy actually,

I did the one on the bench first to see how it would go….

Break off the plastic elbow
Insert easy out nice & snug (use a size larger than you think you need) you don't want it to go into the carb body it will defeat the purpose, you just want to get a good bite on it.

A LITTLE heat than twist & pull it out.

Install….

A LITTLE heat on the carb body..

Freeze spray on the brass.. or throw it in the freezer while your taking the other one out.

Align it & tap in with small hammer.

Go riding.
