This is my first bike, and I don’t know much about motorcycles. Overfilled engine oil however is likely to do so. Check engine oil immediately upon shutdown. If it is above the low mark, then leave it. If below, then add only enough to bring level midway between low and full marks. Follow instructions in owners manual.
