I'm trying to get as much stuff off the bike as possible. It came with a Buell race exhaust with the valve servo cable disconnected. Can I unplug and remove the servo from the top of the airbox without messing anything up in the ECU? thanks!

If it has a race ECM on it, just remove it and you're done. If it doesn't have a race ECM, you'll need to either disable the function in your ECM using your PC, SW (i.e. ECMSpy) and a cable connected to the bike, or use a servo emulator.

Race ECMs for 08 models can be obtained from Erik Buell Racing racing. Emulators are here: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/9313.html
