I just got a great deal on some 5 racing gloves at cycle gear. They seem very nice and the fact that I got them for $45 (normal 150) makes them better. I wore them for a few hours yesterday. They have little vents under the knuckle gaurds that seem to keep them cool. The only complaint is the two end fingers have leather between them to keep the fingers together. Not a problem with the gloves just my damn pinky on my right is crooked so it doesn't sit right. I will probably just cut the leather between the fingers It looks like they were made thinking people might do that.

No it was made to stop the pinky from hyperextending in an accident. Alpinestar gloves have this feature it is good to have as the gloves you describe are street or racing gloves. Plastic finger vents dead giveaway.
