I have 97 M2 Cyclone and I think my starter might be dead. Anyone know where I can find a new one?

one for a sportster will work.
If the Harley shop wont sell you one for a reasonable sum, give me a PM, I can supply a new one.

Chances are the starter is not dead - it very may well be only the solenoid, and solenoid rebuild kits (same as for Sportsters) are cheap - ebay-type search. Do a search on here and in old school on rebuilding solenoids. There are some good threads on it.

Or maybe the starter is dead.
