I was just out riding my 05 xb9r when I noticed that my headlight was out. It was just working the day before. The tail light is also out but the brake light still comes on and the bulb apears to be fine. All my fuses are in good condition (although I did try replacing the light fuse just to be sure). I'm guessing that a conection in the wiring came loose, but I'm a new Buell owner, and just now learning slowly how to work on this machine. Any other ideas based off of what I described, or a point in the right direction as to the location of this issue? | ||

To anyone one who stumbles on this thread with the same problem, I fiixed it. The low beam lightbulb was out, so I replaced it even though it looked fine. It fixed the headlight AND the tail light. I guess they run on the same circut. |
