Author Message   Tazmania720 Posted on Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 09:22 pm:        OK, so silly me removed the muffler while doing some service to my 99 X1. I was out and around and at a quick stop noticed that the muffler was hanging a bit low in the back. That is when I noticed that bolt came loose and the nut assembly had fallen out. Any ideas where I can find a new nut assembly or how I can get around this dilemma? I already thought about just putting a nut under it, but I will not be able to get a wrench on it to hold when I try to tighten it down. And trust me, I will use some thread locker next time.   Buell_bert Posted on Sunday, January 25, 2009 - 10:03 pm:        Did the bolt just fall out? If so just get another bolt at the hardware store. And maybe use Nylocks instead of Locktite.
