Just puttin this out there so people understang how bad the stock muffler is. I am a ase certified master tech on cars but just starting to really tinker with the buell. As you all know bone stock these bikes are slow. So I went and did the airbox mod and k&n filter with some programing. It worked ok but I was a little dissapointed. So A couple of weeks ago we had a nice sunny day in tennessee so I took the muffler off. It ran flat as hell. So I hooked up the lap top and threw a quik tune in just for fun. Now at full throttle and at redline I shift into 2nd gear and the front wheel comes up to the point where I have to let off so I dont go all the way over. That is definetly something this bike wouldnt do before. Now I am not leaving the bike that way. I just wanted to see how bad the stock muffler was. So I think I might by a micron or jardine. I havnt decided yet. | ||
