Is there any advantage to the y-mount when using a Vance and Hines muffler? Since ditching my Bubs I have broken two mounts at the rear of the muffler. I'm just about ready to buy another set of Bubs. This is for a 1999 M2. Thanks.

I got the Bubs on ebay. I also sold them there. They are a 2 into 2 system. I think maybe having each pipe mounted differently vibrated less. Maybe I was just lucky. Sorry, I can't find any pictures of them.
