before reseting my tps and afv i had a techlusion tfi box on my 03'xb9r with race ecm and so forth and the afv was 107.now that ecmspy is available i took of the tfi box and reset the afv, took it on the highway and ran it a few miles to relearn and when i got back i checked the afv and it is now at 117.is that bad or good? i assume the lower the afv the better?should i put the tfi back on? i do live in phx so i'm pretty close to sea level.any answers would be appreciated.

jw, im no expert but from what i have read, you will not need the tfi box anymore. if you are close to sea level your afv should be between 95 and 105. a possible reason for the high afv could be your static timing. if the cylinders are not tuned correctly, less fuel could be combusting in them, thus causing your o2 sensor to read that the bike is running lean and bumping up your afv to compensate. another simple solution would be to reset your tps. this might have been thrown off when you took the tfi off.
