Now we all know that the service manual has any number of errors, which is why I checked the service bulletin for the earlier models. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/B018-263565.pdf The service bulletin seems a little more believable since they take the time to coat the bolt head with oil. So, here's what each says... service bulletin loctite 271 & 60 ft-lb service manual loctite 262 & 75 ft-lb Does anyone have a service manual from 2001 or 2002 for the X1, M2, S3? Would you please check what it says? It's under the "Cylinder Head", the section on "Assembly".
