i fired up my 06 XB9SX and roosted on down the road for about 7 miles and stopped in at the first gas station to check levels before carrying on. when i took the dipstick out i noticed it was all bubbly and reading just over the full mark. i looked into the swing arm and noticed that the oil in the tank looked as if it had just been boiled, it was all bubbly and agitated looking , not frothy and white like it would with condensation in it, i put the stick back in and tightened it up and rode on for the rest of the afternoon , about 90 miles . any idea what is going on here? thanks.
