I will be helping a buddy with a top end overhaul on his Buell S1 racebike, supposedly built with XB12 heads and XB9 pistons. This bike was built by Wes Orloff, who used all HD/Buell parts in it.

I have no experience with these stock pistons/heads, so I wonder if someone had photos of these components so I will recognize what they are when I see them. It will help us when we order new parts to know what is what. If you could post them on here, I think everyone would find them of interest. Or you can send them to me directly at jimidan@bellsouth.net.

Thanks,

jimidan

Nevermind, we are way past that now. I know what they look like because we are looking at the real thing. Thanks for all the help though.

You know, if you had entitle this "need photos of Shania Twain" it might have garnered a better response.

XB9 are domed pistons; XB12 are flat top type.

Could be worth taking a note of what part numbers are cast into the bigger parts then look up what you have that way? HTH.
