I got the vdsts software and cables. I was reading the procedure for reseting the tps and it say to adjust the "throttle stop screw" to 5.1 degrees.

Where is this "throttle stop screw" on the bike? I have the manual but couldnot locate it. Anyone got a referance page # or a pic of it? Thanks

Next to your left side air scoop, on the inside of it,visible from the front. Use a 3/16" Allen Ball driver.

Same thing. One name is the function it performs, the other is the description of how it performs the function. The only reason to adjust it to 5.1 degrees is that the bike will likely not start if you don't get it in the ballpark. Once running and warmed up, you can set the idle speed by monitoring it with VDSTS or with the tach on the bike. 1050 RPM is the best speed because any lower than that delivers low oil pressure, and any higher than that starts to move the isolation mounting system into it's dynamic amplification frequencies and things start to shake too much.

No issue reading engine temp on the PC version, can't say I recall seeing any issues with it on the PDA version running on my HP IPAQ. But I'm not sure I have the latest version running on either platforms at the moment.

Buellbozo, You know I wouldnt charge you a thing.

However I am having some problems with it and the pda technoresearch shipped me. So it might be a couple days. I have been on the phone with jimberto about these issues.
He is trying to figure out what is going on.

When I go into "graphs" mode on the pda (m1000) and customize the windows it doesnt show "engine temp", I found it by selecting a empty slot on the scroll down window.??? Weird
Then sometimes on the scrolldown the is showing lamda, engine temp, in some funky weird symbols????
I went to the web sight down loaded the latest version for the pda "D", once you install to the pda and check the version in the pda it is the old version"C". I think the sight has a error in there software patch name/version.

Anyone have a problems like this?
