planning the first runs of the season: first of may (saturday) arrive in Hope early afternoon 01 may, situate in cabin, or B&B, loot, pillage, carrouse, consume adult beverages. depart late morning on sunday, assuming sufficient bail money. 3rd weekend in may- we invade Seward Alaska arrive via loud hoards of open piped v-twins, take over B&B. secure motorcycles, canvass town, take over pool tables, and drink till wee hours. depart with police escort around noon sunday. will update on july 4th run as time draws close. | ||

ok, 4th of july run will be a 3 day roundtrip to Whitehorse, yukon territory. 1950 mile round trip. i figure about 72 hours should leave plenty of time for side trips, lunch, etc. maybe find a weight room in whitehorse, get a short workout-shower- steambath. will update with particulars......dean | ||

Hope invasion went as planned.14 riders, no mechanicals, no casualties, no prisoners. some drinking, one sportster ride through the creek, one minor domestic violence (i think he had it coming). decent weather, everyone had fun, even the moron that caught the beer bottle in the face. | ||

wish i had caught a picture of the little old lady that runs the liquor store: velma is 92, but she doesnt look a day over a hundred. ST pauli girl was only 9.50 for a six pack. not too bad for alaska.i dont know what rodney was drinkin, but he had a sufficient quantity. the sportster remained upright, but it took 3 of us to pick it out of the creek. | ||
