Looking at starting a chapter outta Racine Harley. Has nothing to do with any other local dealers, its just that racine is actually a lot closer for quite a few of us than any other dealer. End of story. | ||

Like I said, pretty obvious. I don't see the harm in letting the possibility be known. It will only affect the people that want to do it. Maybe things will change for the better...or worse, depending on how you look at it. Nothing wrong with a little healthy competition. Nothing written in stone that I know of. But boy R1dynaBuellsquidrider or whatever the name of the day is....you soooooo bad!  | ||

I dont understand any harm either. Nobody is forcing anyone to join or stop belonging to any other chapter..hell CJ belongs to Hals & Ukes. The more exposure the better. And if some dealerships get their panties ina bunch because folks want to try out something new...oh well, too bad. | ||

How worse can it get Rocco???Dealer's when they start a club expect some loyalty and Racine I know will want that...I know the people and well...better then I know Ukes cause I have history with them to some extent.Some of us are loyality has diminished at are Brag club for one reason or another.So if the trust is not there anylonger its time to move on.I know there are a few followers and a few may decide to come along if its a go.Some may decide to stay where there at that's great good luck I hope and I mean it,it works out for ya's.Lets see what happens hopefully will have a green light on this.If not I've made some great friends at Uke's and that will always remain true to me. | ||

Remember nobody is asking anyone to forsake 1 club for another, join both & have the best & sometimes the worst of both  I havent belonged to the Ukes chapter in over 2 years, doesnt stop me from hanging around with the folks though. Its about friendships & riding & not so much about dealerships. | ||

Hmmm...Based on prior conversations, I smell a history and economics lesson coming soon. LOL Good luck with the new club! I think it is a great idea. Much more centrally located to the prospective members. Not to mention with three clubs to belong to, you will have an even greater number of events to work and attend. Buell's sales are sure to benefit from all the additional exposure! | ||

I have no problem staying at Uke's and joining Racine if it's a go or leaving Uke's all together if things don't improve over there. I have NO problem saying I'm not really happy with the way things are going over there as far as the Club goes, and I don't really care who knows it. Things will have to improve and a lot to justify continuing with them. It SEEMS to me membership is dwindling, interest is not all that great form both members and certain people at the dealership. If posting this oversteps some "boundary" well TFB. This WILL be brought up at the next meeting and I'll be happy to get the ball rolling. I'm not saying the dealership has done bad by me as far as taking care of bike issues. I know some people have had problems, but I think that's an all together different issue, NOT to be brought up in problems that we perceive to be hurting the BRAG Club. Members I have no issues with. But,as discussed and just what is more than obvious, issues need to be brought out in the open for an intelligent discussion with all parties so EVERYONE knows where we stand. I believe after that is done and no excuses of "We didn't know you felt that way" on BOTH sides, only then will true colors show through and minds can be made up much clearer then. I'll stop now. Hope you can see where I'm coming from.?! | ||

Ok who wants to get together for a little meeting with the dealership folks next week some time? Maybe even a little dinner afterwards at the charcoal grill down the road? Name the time & date. Going to have to be mon-wed since im sure they will be closed for thanksgiving. | ||

Well it sounds so far like a green light.Mark,Jamie and Dean are showing enthusiasm.I think that some of us go in and meet them and put some names with faces would be great.Jamie liked the name.Good one Dyna.One thing that really was cool was that Jamie may join us for some rides at night.The events that Racine holds like there Open house is probably the best the area has to offer bar none.Now if we can add some BUELL into that fold it would awesome.Are meetings will be kept short as possible to state all business and then for a ride.....to where ever we choose to go.The object is riding.Stay tuned cause this should all unwind and become something soon.As far as interest it seems like we have already generated quite a few.I also have shown them this websight and this thread so they should be peeking in and checking it out from time to time. | ||

Exactly. We know what we need to do for the Club and to help out the Dealer to make this thing run smoothly. I wouldn't be too concerned what we could get out of it. I'd settle for a Dealer that shows some excitement about it and Club members that are happy to give their business to and promote the Dealership in a positive way. Benefits will grow from that alone. | ||

I think all of those stipulations sound great! One of my original beefs a year or so ago was that I really wanted to get out and ride asap and some just wanted to dawdle and shop--which is fine, I do it all the time--but when some of us have that time set aside for specifically just that, I wanted to haul a** (if that's possible on a Blast) and RIDE.....(not that that is a direct reflection of poor dealershipisms....just ONE of my thoughts in regards to the new "rules" ) As for discussing some of the "group dynamics" with Uke's,Dyna, count me in for that meeting. Just let me know when and where. | ||

Yeah..there Were cliques...It has gotten MUCH better over time....To be honest, I didn't feel very welcomed when I joined..BUT, it is MUCH better now | ||
