I might be heading home this Saturday, too. Well, actually Friday night I would head that way. Unless they force me to stay the weekend down here and show up on Monday to collect the "do not pass go, do not collect $200" paperwork. So mine will not be as joyous of a return...

anyone have rear stand that might/will work on a 1125? Im near Winston Salem.
I just posted in the 1125 section, needing to replace the rear tire on my 1125 and cant use the lift cause my S3 is still on it.
Didnt know if there was a local rear stand that'd work, or, as I posted in the thread, if there was a way I could raise the rear up just enough to get the rear wheel off. Cant strap to rafters, none in the new garage.
Thanks for anything you can tell me. Just trying to do stuff asap so I might be able to do the WV rally.
Have not done tires on a 1125, but I jack the xbs up by the pipe. Have had no problems at all. I've also got an engine hoist that I can borrow and a no-mar...
Sounds like a darned good old time, especially if the haunted creeper races are going on. Yeah, I added the 'haunted' for shock value...
Well, I found out today that if I talk with the HR Manager on Friday I will be able to head home (to NC - I gotta remind myself where home is...) Friday and not have to worry about coming back for Monday - while still getting paid for Monday.
So it looks like I will head back home at some point Friday, probably taking a meandering way back.
Thant means I got 11 - BURP! make that 10 - cold beers I gotta drink between tonight and tomorrow night!!!

Oldog, well he for sure made it to West Virginia. By now he's either at the rally, or sitting at a truck stop in Ohio wondering where he missed his turn.
3 of us are staying at the 2 wheel inn in robbinsville nc. 2 are on buells and my harley road king is broken. My shocked locked up and my swingarm cracked in 2 pieces.

ANYONE who needs a place to stay if Hurricane Irene does indeed slam into Wilmington or the Outer Banks is more than welcome to stay here in Carrboro/ near Chapel Hill. Unfortunately I cannot have animals at my place due to the landlords being rental Nazis... but hit me up if anyone needs a place to crash for a few days!
