Alas, I will be unable to attend SPLASH this year. I have been saddled with the great responsibility of making sure one of Deeley's motorcycles is safely returned to Vancouver from the Harley-Davidson/Buell Summer Dealer Meeting in San Diego. Hwy 1 & 101 most of the way :-) Other news is that I have a younger brother that just obtained his license this year, and is enthusiastically getting riding experience on a 2003 XB9R; even got to experience a flat tire on Friday evening! I trust you guys/gals will look out for Craig for me. As well, Jimmy (on the suzuki dual-purpose last Boarder Raid) has expressed great interest in riding with everyone again. Their plan would be to make it to leave with the House of Buell riders and make it to Woodland before dark on Friday. If you were sober enough Friday to leave Tacoma at a reasonable ( read pre-lunch) hour, I'd be proud to share some beauties with any and all.
