Not much going on in KY except toy runs. I went on the Hardin County Toy Run last Sun. It looked to me like the biggest turn out yet. I rode the M2 and I didn't see any other Buells. It looks like good weather forecasted for this Sun. which is the date of the Louisville Toy Run. | ||

hello again I'm coming back down at the end of January into Feb for more lock training and just seeing the above post makes any Motorcycle events looking pretty bleak, but I'm ganna ask anyway any motorcycle shows or swap meets coming up down there in Kentucky? | ||

Usually the Louisville KY Easyriders Bike Show goes down in February but the 2010 show in Louisville was apparently canceled. So according to my calendar the next local event will be the Walneck Swap Meet at the Bullitt County Fairgrounds on 16 May 2010. Louisville does have a Polar Bear Run on New Years Day. | ||

Just have them change the training from then to sometime around the end of June/beginning of July, it's much better riding around here that time of year  Probably won't see too many out at that time of year. Although it has been known to be in the 50's in February, just not very often. | ||

Kyrocket Believe me I wanted to have training then but the job is sending me right away because I took over head locksmith position for security. I wanted to ride down SO BAD! After this trip I don't think I will be down in a long time. It all depends on what else they give me. I love coming down there and attending school. K | ||

Not to be nosey BUT where are they sending you to school? And where do you work? I majored in Loss Prevention and Security at EKU and had a couple of classes that went into some depth at picking locks. It's amazing how much leeway there is in a tumbler, but I don't use much of my major anymore. Just curious as to what you do. | ||

We had 11 days left, you must be getting ancy. How's the knee(s) working for you? You been able to get out and about? | ||

Been in a bit of pain since 11 Sept. 09 when the LEFT KNEE was done ... The left knee started to be a more pain free(at 9 weeks) by the 16 Nov. 09, so the RIGHT KNEE was done ... And the BIG PAIN started all over again ... It has been over 9 weeks with the RIGHT KNEE, BUT unlike the LEFT KNEE is still more PAINFUL ... The good news is "i" can start riding again by the end of FEBRUARY so DAYTONA is possible .. | ||

That is a nice bike you got there! let me repeat kentucky is freezing and its going to snow tomorrow afternoon. I thought it was going to be a little more warm than Maryland WRONG! My Uly is tucked away in the garage back home. | ||

We got 3-4" of dry snow here in E'town. Fortunately we got no freezing rain like they did down in Tennessee. I just got my Harley FXR back on line with a new oil tank and battery and am itching to test ride it. Can't do that until all the salt is washed off the road! | ||

I'm outta Kentucky this friday I love this state and the kind people living here! I visited McConnell Springs and the Kentucky Horse Park last weekend Both are beautiful. Looks like I'll be driving home with a Northeaster storm. K | ||

Glad you enjoyed your stay, hopefully sometime you can visit on the two wheeler and my offer still stands to show you around. You were close to some really good roads especially when you were at McConnell Springs. Hope you have safe travels home. It's raining now but looks like it's turning to snow east and north of here. |
