Here's the thing:
The bike I am going to be riding is my TTR125 mini motard. I am going to be doing a cone course at the shop. I am going to be driving to where ever we hook up. My Buell is also in pieces, and has been off the road for over a year. It's a track only bike now. I currently don't have a bike for the road.

I am going to head towards Sheldon's at around 9:30-10:00.

christmas is about having 2 wet warm days in a row to ride the bejeezus out of your dirtbike. if you've got any spare change, or even if you don't, i highly recommend a street legal dirtbike. come join the fun.

I took my side stand off yesterday. I now have the wire hanging from the switch that was attached. I see the newer models no longer use this. Is it okay to just rip/cut this wire off? will the bike still run with nothing connected or stall as if the stand was down?

I brought my battery to work to charge it and never brought it home yet, so I have no way to test it.

I believe thats the sidestand switch. try to start it without it... it that doesnt work, take that connector off, solder the 2 wires together, and heat shrink it... plug the connector into the plug... , and it should start right up.

Of course, you can cut a piece of wire, and stick it in the plug to be sure FIRST....(sorry., just waking up, no coffee yet).

I'm certain you need to MAKE the circuit "think" the stand is up.You need to jumper the wires that way.Ducati makes a plug to make it happen on theirs.I hate not being able to run my Duc with the stand down.

What're you guys doing for mods this winter?

150hp Nitrous? Twin Turbos? Anything trick?

No, I can't do all of it ; ) . I am doing all of the races, race practices, Boston Moto track days in NH and PA, and maybe one in NJ along with a 2 day Penguin school. I'll have to plan out my getting laid well in advance.

My dads bike came with stock ecm and a race ecm.

Scotty, Eric, I am gonna need your help flashing the stock with the proper map so I can sell his race ecm and he can put it towards a jacket or some safety gear.

This is probably a simple thing for you guys but for someone like me, it is near impossible. Let me know if I can bother you for this sometime when its nice and dry out. (Plus, I wanna ride his bike again)
