My guess is with a truck. Long story short - we blew the bearing and ruined the hub in the process. We coudln't find a suitable combination of hub, bearing and wheel to make something work, so some old timer is fixing her up. | ||

More NEBO in here than HV... Hey guys, I have a question for y'all. My wife is going to be moving to Newburgh soon to start school at Mount Saint Mary to get her BSN. I will be stationed at West Point from 2009 to 2012, so she needs to start her BSN a year before I get there in order to finish by the time I move away from WP. Anyway, can you guys give me some advice on where she should or should not look for an apartment? I obviously don't want her living anywhere near where Hammer got knifed by a thug... Awesome, thanks. I'm not sure when the time is going to be. She's living in the house I grew up in, in Connecticut, but it's going on the market within a week. It's a cheap home in an area of wicked expensive ones, so it may sell quickly. So the time may be a month from now, or five months from now... | ||

sean, most of the area is quite nice, if a little pricey. just stay out of hammers playground and all is fine. if you're looking at a particular place feel free to call (#'s in the ran) and i can give you an idea of what the area is like. mike | ||

Hey guys, thanks for the tips. We actually decided to buy a house, it's only 3 miles from the Mount and 18 miles from West Point. So she can commute easily to school, and I get to ride 40 miles a day for work. Woohoo! And it seems to be in a nice section of town, off Brewer Road, and not in the City of Newburgh. We did find on the Internet a house on Robinson Avenue, but we didn't stop when we drove by it. It looked nice, but it was about the only thing that looked nice in that area. Too bad. Right now we're looking for a place for the missus to stay until the house is done mid-September. We have a few options. | ||
