Nah, no need to ship it. I'll get it no sweat. Thanks for the offer tho! It's actually really sturdy with the 5 stratigically placed bungies... but I will look into the bungy net also. Also looks like the soft saddle bags will work. I just now need to plan out what all I'll be bringing. | ||

I ended up finding some riding boots that I really liked. They were expensive, but the crazy hot sales lady talked me into them  . They come complete with toe sliders, which I would love to scuff up a bit down there on those great roads! I now for the first time in my life own a complete motorcycle specific outfit! Just in time for my first ever motorcycle event! This is going to be excellent! | ||

The bike is now finished. SilverBullet did a nice job on my chin fairing. What had happened was, the bolts that hold it to the bike on the exhaust side came out, and the fairing fell on the exhaust melting a hole in the front, and the top middle. Looks new, Bobby is a talented craftsman. The countdown continues as Buellers from all over prepare to head to the North Georgia Mountains. It won't be long before we're all off riding the great mountain roads, and hanging out with old and new friends. At the end of a beautiful day of riding, the traditional bonfire will be host to many stories, lies, bench racing, and general talk of the day's riding. The outlook for weather looks good. We're heading for a warm spell, hopefully it will stay dry and in the 70os.  Buellers Buellers Everywhere! | ||

I'm all done...kinda...  I'm still gonna paint the muffler, the triples, and fork lowers. Not sure if I'm gonna try before MB or not. I just got back from a ride, it was the first time in a long time I was out riding and ran out of time, rather than it getting dark and the temps dropping. Hello Spring! | ||

We are getting close... Just in case anybody missed it, there will be a small contingent arriving Thurs. There will probably be a "warm-up" ride Thurs eve up Hwy 60 to the next town and back. Sidestands up Fri at 9am, heading for the Dragon. There will be stops planned along the way so the faster and slower riders don't get all strung out. I will be bringing some maps as well. ***Can someone from up that way please give me a weather report and a road update on Tues so I can plan the route? I want to incorporate the Cherhola skwyway, but not if the conditons aren't good.... Sun nite... There is a little basement bar in Dalonaga that serves some good food and has Karaoke... Attend at your own risk!! And whatever you do, DO NOT drink copious amounts of alcohol and ride (in the cage) with Smoke (AKA Tim) !!!!!!!!!! I don't recall any 4 wheel drifts around the corners, but dang Smoke... Do you really have to test the cornering abilities of your truck, at night, on the back mountain roads!!???!!??!! LOL...
