To the ladies down there in Uke land, just a thought, but how about organizing a ladies multi-group ride sometime. I know there's a few women in the Hal's group, even though they rarely show up for the meetings, and I'm certain there's a bunch more female Buell riders who are unattached to any BRAG group. Might be fun for you all.
Anyway, just an idea.

It was a trap, a setup, and you thought the Joker and the Penguin were tough adversaries. Next thing you know you'll be running against Pat Paulson for President of the United States.

Hang in there though. I hear that the coordinators have to pre-run all the planned routes. Life could be worse, ya know.

I thought it was at my yahoo address.

Your bike, should your club be able to afford it, awaits.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist this one.
Although the 1959 Harley the original one was built from would be maybe fun to have. Or at least the go-cart.

That custom designer was WAY ahead of his time - as the Batcycle looks an awful lot like a Hayabusa. Or perhaps Suzuki is just WAY behind....

Designers of today watched TV and read comics in their youth. Others read through history on their hobby interests. 7 years ago I looked at an old exposed-rocker early H-D twin in a little Antique-converting_to-motorcycle shop in California, and the bike had aerodynamic skins on the springer legs. Would have made a neat vintage LSR bike.

Bomber,
What's the pay scale, and can I work remotely?????
===
ps, if you want to get voted out of office, tell them you are organizing an Ironbutt ride and the route will be I-90/94 to Wall Drug in Wall, SD and back. Restroom breaks only at river crossings. :)

Bomber,
Everything that comes out of your mouth makes me laugh! You are too funny. Heh, why not invite your wife to a meeting sometime?? It would be nice to get some more ladies in the group!!! Besides, I am partial to people who ride Buell Blasts. Yes I know that you won't be completely responsible for coordinating all activities, but you can at least guide us to more bonding in our small Uke's Brag group. Besides the whole reason we are in this club is cuz we love to RIDE!!

CMJ, we should get together for a group ride. I will talk to grapejuice and we can set something up.

Mikej, what an awesome idea to have a women multi- group ride. Unfortunately I have NO idea how to make this happen. Any suggestions?

Pick a date a few months in advance if possible, or just pick one at the last minute. Then contact the BRAG leaders and a couple of dealers to send out notices to their members or post on their bulletin boards.
For up here you could start with Rick K. in sales at Hal's and ask him to send out an email, and to maybe include posting the notice on both Hal's and Wisconsin H-D's bulletin boards. There are at least three female Buell riders at Hal's as employees if I remember right, and at least one that I know of who frequents Wisconsin H-D in Oconomowoc as a customer.
Hope this helps some. Ride safe, but have fun.

Alright Yellow, I'm looking forward to riding with you and Grape, and any women's multi-group ride you can get together.

Hey bomber, no problemo on the suspension stuff! If i remember correctly we didn't have to do much to your M2. I went back through my notes on my X1 and I'm running 1.0kg/mm fork springs in a race application, so probaly something along the lines of a .85-.9 kg/mm spring should work well for the street for your application. I've found the racetech spring charts tend to error on the soft side (for my rider/bike weight). I believe the Buell 'race' springs are right in this range and can be purchased Through the wonderful Ukes parts department! Good luck with it and it was very nice meeting you. Hopefully we can do some riding together. Congradulations on your nomination as well!

Bomber....Do you really have a job? If BWB had post meter, I think you & MikeJ would be neck & neck for the lead.

BTW, welcome to the land of beer & cheese:)
