You mean a forcewinder???

One listed for a 1200 will work for an 883. I don't know what year the 883 is, but I'm not sure what's out there for EFI models.

No , their exhaust. I've got 2 for the S-1's and I'd love to get that sound one her '97 Sporty.

She started on an X-1 with a D&D then on to a Monster with the Corse exhaust so naturally she wants something a bit rowdy sounding but not your run of the mill straight pipes.

Exhaust that fits a 1200 should fit an 883 no problem. Externally, the engines are the same.

Only thing to watch for is make you sure get a model that will fit her forward controls if she has them, or mids if she has those.

Most that fit forwards will fit both, but there are some that are one or the other only.
