Looking to find out if anyone has had any positive or negative experiences with dealers around the florida panhandle as I'm comtemplating purchasing a Buell and am curious what support will be like in this area.

Well I bought mine from Dothan Harley Davidson. Although I don't recommend them for service the price was pretty competitive. You may try Pensacola, but not knowing where you are exactly I can't say for sure.

The dealership in Ocala has the lowest "sticker" prices I've seen on new bikes; although I don't know if they add on for prep, freight, etc.

Good luck,
Bill

I've bought two (02 X-1W and a year later 03 XB9R) from Flint River HD in Albany GA. Best out the door prices and I couldn't ask for better follow up service. Mike

Thanks in Tallahassee and mostly concerned with the service available as I may end up buying from far away through the Cycle Trader.

I've been very happy with Gainesville HD. The service department has always treated me well and I've never had any trouble with my XB.

The sales folks should spend some more time doing their homework, though. Don't let them turn you away from the shop.

I bought an '02 X1W from St. Augustine HD back in April of last year and they were great. Don't know about the service department as I live in Alabama and don't drive that far for service, but they are "family" owned.

I got the best deal in Ocala FL. Picked up an 05 XB12R for what Flint River HD wanted for an 04 XB9 (and thats with delivery and6 yrs of warranty to boot!)
Flint River(albany, GA) does have a good Buell Mechanic, but they add 10% to the book hours on any job they do.

I have never had any service dealings with Ocala, but they were super friendly and helpful when I purchased my bike from them.

Hey there BuellGator,

Mea Culpa, I admit it. I've always considered Parts and Service to be a team, but you're right. The parts folk at G'ville HD know their Buells as well.

Purchased my CityX and have had 1K service, new back tire installed, and oil change at Ocala. I've been satisfied with sales and service. They have an offer in service of buy an oil change (or service maint) and get your next oil change for free. Saves you a little when you use Syn3.
